Julie A. Collins was born in southeast Alabama, where she avoided the oppressive heat by drawing for hours at the kitchen table. Today she teaches computer and studio classes for the Sequential Art department at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She is the first female professor in the department’s history.
Her outstanding pen and ink work has appeared in the books Savannah Ghosts, Savannah Tavern Tales and Pubs Review, Historical Whodounits, and the award-winning graphic novel, Trailers. She is also the founder of Scribbleclick.org, an online magazine for those passionate about the Sequential Arts.
